January 2012 Boone County Quorum Court Meeting

January 7, 2012

Dear Patriot(s),

This is a reminder that the BCQC will be holding its regular meeting this Monday (1/9) at the Durrand Center in Harrison - 7pm. This is will be an important meeting for all who support Judge Norton's proposal for road maintenance to attend. The 2012 County Budget is on the agenda for discussion and this time there will be a twist.

Sources have informed us that sometime after the meeting is called to order, the court will recess in order to hold a combined meeting between the Road and Bridges Committee and the Finance Committee. Upon adjournment of the committee meeting, the QC meeting will be called back to order and proceed as scheduled. A vote on the budget is anticipated at evening.

Many of our members and supporters have signed the petition in support of the Judge's proposal and we extend our most sincere "thanks" to those who did; however, a signature does not send as powerful a message as a face so even if you have added your signature to the hundreds that have been collected, please make every attempt to attend this meeting.

We were able to gather more than 60 citizens at last Thursday's committee meeting. Surely we can double that amount for the QC meeting on Monday. Please pass word along to your friends, family and neighbors.

For Liberty,
Kara Staton
